Palmetto Carriage Works Hosts Second Annual “Stuff A Carriage” Charity Event to Benefit Local Children in Need

On Sunday, November 27th, we will be hosting our annual “Stuff a Carriage” campaign to collect toys for children in need!

Anyone who drops off a new, unwrapped toy will receive a free carriage ride that day. Tours leave from 8 Guignard Street in Downtown Charleston and will run from 9am to 4pm. Parking is free.

“Giving back to the community is a top priority and we are thankful to be able to host the toy drive again this year,” company spokesperson Victoria Moore said. “This is a great opportunity for folks to join our beloved animals as we all get in the Holiday spirit of giving.”

Last year the we collected nearly 300 toys and gave 250 carriage rides. This is just one of the many community outreach events we are proud to participate in. Other events this season include Jingle Bell rides for the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry and Carriages in the Community.

Carriages fill up quickly so guests are encouraged to come early to drop off their toys. Parking will be offered in their lot on the corner of Anson and Pinckney Street. For more information, call 843-723-8145 or visit www.palmettocarriage.com.
