Currently Palmetto Carriage Works is hiring full or part time Tour Guides for our upcoming season. We are looking for candidates who display exceptional customer service skills, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. We are looking for candidates to conduct 1-hour residential tours, ghost tours, and 30-45 minute evening tours on horse-drawn carriages. If you like working outdoors this job is for you!
You must have a valid driver’s license to apply, but the training for driving horses and mules is provided. The position is contingent on passing a tour guide exam that is administered by the City of Charleston. We will provide study materials to help pass the test. Paid training is available to the right applicant. Palmetto Carriage also provides free parking downtown for employees.
